A Club Matters Business Planning workshop took place on 13th July. Thank you to the 17 people who attended. It proved to be a really worthwhile session, with feedback indicating that most clubs found the evening beneficial and a useful support as they develop their clubs.
Club Matters workshops are free to participants; we hope to offer a further workshop at the beginning of 2017.

On Wednesday 25th May, Hambleton hosted its first Club Night for sports clubs at the Civic Centre, Northallerton.
19 different sports clubs from across the district supported the event with a total of 31 participants taking part in the evening’s activities. Clubs were given a chance to network with other clubs whilst sharing their aspirations and challenges.
The event was delivered in partnership with North Yorkshire Sport who shared their knowledge and resources to help clubs with their development and sustainability. It was a great evening and feedback from participants was good.
Using feedback and discussion points from the evening, the next Club Night is being planned. We are looking to offer a workshop relating to recruiting and retaining volunteers.
Club Night will take place on Wednesday 21st September between 6:30 and 8:30pm at the Civic Centre, Northallerton. Further details will be sent soon.
