2017 Season League Representative Fixtures

There are just two, perfectly formed, hugely important fixtures again this season for our League Representative team. The team will be lead this year by Chris Gill.

The first fixture is the annual grudge match against the League Overseas XI. This will take place on Sunday June 18th from 1;30pm at the fabulous Wath and Melmerby Cricket Club. The ground there is in cracking shape with a great deck and fast outfield. The boundaries are within easy reach too! The hospitality and facilities are top class too having seen the clubhouse extended and improved over recent years. The Overseas side will be lead by Brad Stephens who will be selecting his XI over the next few weeks.

The second game will be against the MCC. This is a cracking day of high quality cricket in a time format with regular stoppages for refreshments! We take this game on tour to North Stainley this year and welcome all spectators from 11am on Wednesday 23rd August. The club is a vibrant hotbed of talent with two strong teams in the Nidderdale League and an enviable production line of juniors. The MCC side will contain many familiar faces from cricket in North Yorkshire.  There is a strong possibility of a return visit to Lords in 2018 but you need to be in it to win it!

If you wish to make yourself available for BOTH games, please get in touch with Chris directly 07912 732007.
