Further Information
Nidderdale Under 12s played their 2nd friendly of the season at Knaresborough Forest. Ed B and Ben opened with a stand of 139 in 21 overs before Ed was ct behind.Ben was eventually bowled for an excellent 57 after some very sweet cover drives whereas Eds 85 was more agricultural. George and Harry helped lift the score to a very good 198. In reply, Upper Airedale lost an early wicket to Tim Williams then debutant Charlie Roberts took a couple of wickets and an excellent run out by Harry Stanford helped keep Airedale in check. Ben Cutts took a wicket on debut before Ed and Ben helped finish off the game with 4 wickets in 8 balls. Forest made excellent hosts and it was a very good performance from Nidderdale.
