Further Information
This is The First Time Nidderdale U15's have got this far in this competiton so these boys have done exceptionally well! Unfortunatly they couldn't quite go all the way but it's still an amazing Achievement! It was a Very close match and rain during our innings probably didn't help. Alex Gates, Steve Townsend and Cam Pitt bowled well to restrict Sheffield to 161. Which we thought and still do was very very getable. But a mixture of good bowling, batting under pressure and rain probably got the better of us. With 81 needed of 90 balls it was looking a close game and Steve (54) Rob Taylor batted well to put us in a possible position but pressure overcame us and unfortunatly we lost by 11 runs.Over the whole Week a great team effort and should be proud of there achievement! Well Done Lads
