Further Information
A decent morning for cricket and Beckwithsaw got off to a flying start thanks to a 46 run partnership between William and Ralph with both batsmen scoring 25 runs. The next two pairs then played sensibly to accumulate more runs and build on this good opening before Jordan hit a couple of great boundaries. Ethan and Morgan then had a fantastic 40 run partnership with some great shots by each batsman. The Studley bowlers tried hard throughout and Dominic got 2 wickets for just 10 runs. In reply Beckwithshaw bowled very well with 5 of the bowlers getting wickets and Morgan, in partcular, fielding very energetically. Well done to Grace for a good debut. Oliver hit two nice fours but it was always going to be difficult for an inexperienced Studley side. Thanks to Sue for agreeing to rearrange the game after being rained off the previous Tuesday and good luck to Studley for the rest of the season.
