Further Information
Thankfully (or perhaps surprisingly) a clear and bright evening welcomed BCC to KFCC. The first major decision was which of BCC's extra players would play for KFCC. Morgan very kindly volunteered and I am very grateful to him for this. This meant that Matthew and Freddie would make their debuts for BCC's under 9's. KFCC struggled with BCC's opening bowlers especially Ralph who bowled brilliantly to end with 3 wickets for 0 runs. More good bowling ensued with Charles and Sam each picking up a wicket and Sam's two excellent overs costing just 1 run. Morgan top scored for KFCC and hit a great 4 in the process. In reply BCC batted very well against an inexperienced KFCC bowling attack with Jordan, Jonas, Charles, Joe and Ralph all getting into double figures. Charles and Jonas' partnership of 44 was particularly pleasing with some fabulous straight drives. Charlie and Connor bowled very well for KFCC; Charlie looks like he could be a spin-bowling prospect for the future. Thanks to Dave and George for hosting us - keep pluugging away guys.
