Further Information

Studley started well with Broadley taking two early wickets and were well set going into the last over with Harrogate on 95, but in an extraordinary last over studley gifted 31 runs including, 3 no balls ,1 wide and 5 penalty runs. However nothing should be taken away from the batting side, Will Topham and Harry Stothard both looked impressive not to forget Butterfields solid 24.For Studley Harry Lamb bowled with great accuracy, but unfortunately the fielding could not match this and for the second time this season 37 extras were given.Chasing 127 for victory was always going to be difficult and after losing Lamb for a classy 15 only Crewe and Broadley looked comfortable at the crease both scoring at a run a ball, unfortunateley no one else could cope with the medium pace of Ward who took an amazing 6 for 11.Well done to Harrogate their teamwork and discipline showed through in all areas of the game.
