Further Information
Pannal won the toss and batted first, from this they got off to a poor start with an early wicket lost through a run-out, however bounced back well to create a 31 partnership between King and London. Witham came on and recieved 2 quick wickets through some excellent leg spin bowling, this helped put Knaresborough in the driving seat, and in the end Knaresborough dismissed Pannal for 84 with the assistance of 4 run outs, one from Webster, an excellent one from Cutts and two from Witham. Withams figures (3-1-6-3) reflected his brlliant bowling display. Knaresborough also lost an early wicket with Gardner clean bowling Webster, however the mature knock of both Witham and Cutts put Knaresborough in a strong position, Cutts retired in no time at all and batted very well, playing his shots throughout. This introduced Balbi to the crease who helped guide Knaresborough home with an undefeated knock of 14, Witham hit the winning boundary and in doing so retired at the same time. Well played both teams, for Pannal, J.London batted very well, along with King and Gardner at the end, Gardner was also the pick of the bowlers, however London also bowled consistantly throughout his 4 overs.
