Further Information
A good game Thornton Batted very well on a bowler friendly wicket and 116 would always be a tough target to hit, the standout batsman Rob Taylor 36 not out. Foot struggel with the opening Bowling of Paxton and Kellet but it was George Sowray that struck the killer blow with the ball and ratteled through the middle order that gave Thornton the edge although with 5 overs left and Smith and Miley going well and only 40 required the chase was Stll on but then 2 overs from dawson taking 3 for 6 gave it tio Thornton
