Notable Facts

17 sixes were scored; 4 to Alistair Bradley (U15).
There were 13 catches taken, 11 clean bowled, 4 run outs & 1 LBW (Charlie Littlewood, Hgte U11.)
This season there have been 5 all girls teams.
Following the postponement of the finals due to adverse weather conditions, Saturday saw an excellent day's cricket with age groups very closely matched in ability. Having no alternative this season but to play on both Saturdays and Sundays has caused some difficulties and our thanks have to go to Pateley Bridge Leisure Centre, without whose support we would not have been able to play all age groups. Our thanks to Sir Thomas who kindly presented the trophies, to Barry Canham and Ian Sunderland for umpiring on Sundays and Barry for umpiring at the finals with Bill. Our thanks as ever to the coaches for their help, and of course to Tricia, who has not only helped with the scoring at the finals, but has attended every Saturday to watch and scored the Sunday matches.
And a special thank you to the players - for the first season ever, we have not lost any of the coloured hat bands!
