Roger Dale will be able to create the fixtures for 2012.
Message from a Division 7 club querying their points, back to June. Now sorted and clubs agree.

ACO North Yorkshire Branch, Umpires Course & AGM( Graham Hyde )
A Level 1 umpires course is being run starting on 3rd October at the Ripley Castle Tea Rooms. Currently 15 people have signed up to attend.
A discussion took place on how to increase the number of umpires in the League. The League offered to reimburse those attendees who committed to stand in 10 or more Saturday fixtures in the 2012 season.
CUP COMPETITIONS AND EVENING LEAGUE ( Ian Sunderland)
Evening League winners were Wath & Melmerby
Dishforth have expressed an interest in joining the evening league in a possible groundshare with Boroughbridge for 2012.
All cup competitions have now been completed:
Peter Bentley, won by Spennithorne and Harnby who beat Birstwith 3rds. MOTM Dave Young
Wath Cup, won by Helperby 2nds who beat Blubberhouses 2nds, MOTM John Tuley
Barrett Cup won by Spofforth who beat Galphay & Winksley, MOTM Ed Walmsley
Atkinson Swiers Cup won by Blubberhouses who beat Killinghall. MOTM John Frazer.
Ouseburn 2nds have asked if a fine for conceding a fixture could be reconsidered. They had a full team available for the original date with Sharow but the game had to be re-arranged as Sharow had restrictions on the use of their ground. The re-schedule clashed with an U17s game so Ouseburn were unable to raise a team. The Management Committee agreed that the fine should remain and Ouseburn had agreed to the change of date.
NORTH & WEST YORKSHIRE CRICKET COUNCIL (Ian Sunderland )

Finals day yesterday at Harrogate
Harrogate facilities where excellent for the finals.
Harrogate won 3 of the finals. North Stainley won the U9s, Knaresborough also won an U13 final.
Monday 12th September at Harrogate CC. Andrew Gale will present the prizes.
A trophy for the John Barrett game will be organised and will be on 18th Septmebr 1pm start at Pannal. Current Joe Lumb side v ex Joe Lumb side for juniors who are now playing senior cricket.
SIX ASIDE JUNIOR INDOORS ( Bill Kitson )
The fixtures for the next season have been issued with a start date for 17th September at Pateley Bridge, and 24th at Boroughbridge. The volume of entries this year has outstripped any previous season. Bedale, Birstwith, Follifoot and Masham have joined bringing the total clubs to 19, fielding 67 teams.
With the exception of u17 and u9 who will play full leagues, the under 15, 13 and 11 have been split into two leagues. Under 13, the largest at 18 teams, has been split between both venues.
The stock of senior balls is exhausted as the ball was annihilated by the older players sometimes using three per session, Lords International supplied a trial ball which proved more durable and is more expensive but comparable in overall cost. I still have a small amount of stock for the juniors but this needs replenishing. As there is unlikely to be any stock remaining for next season that could be expensive next year. I have therefore taken steps to try and find a sponsor and have enlisted the help of Andy Groves, sports reporter for the Harrogate Advertiser.
The request for help has only yielded one response from umpire Barry Canham, who is willing to assist when available. The question was asked if more help would be forthcoming if umpires were recruited on payment of expenses. Although this was discussed, it seems unfair to all those who give their time voluntarily.
LEAGUE REPRESENTATIVE SIDE ( Alex Houseman ) (including M C C Match at Burton Leonard on August 31st.
