Minutes

The Minutes of the Annual General Meeting held on January 19th 2004 were signed as being a true record.

Matters Arising

There were no matters arising.

Treasurer Neil Burtwistle The treasurer presented the balance sheet ( accounts for the 2004 season) Following a few questions from the floor the balance sheet was accepted by the meeting.

Disciplinary Panel David Burton See separate Sheet
Child Welfare Officer Bradley Atkinson See separate Sheet

Cup/Evening League Barry Gill. Discussion on the fixtures for the Evening League – to be agreed by the partaking clubs following this meeting.
The above reports were all accepted by the meeting – Sir Thomas thanked Bradley Atkinson for his Herculean Effort in arranging meetings for all the Clubs Welfare Officers

Election of Officers

Sir Thomas (President) Jeff Watkins (Umpires Secretary) and Ben Drummond ( Ground Committee Secretary) were re-elected unopposed.

Election of Committee Members

Erik Thompson, Eric Houseman were unopposed. Ben Drummond is now Ground Committee Secretary and Chris Newton has been nominated and seconded and will fill this vacancy.

Election of Disciplinary

6 names had been put forward from the meeting. A ballot took place and the 5 members required to complete the Disciplinary Panel were voted as follows :- Richard Bleasdale, Roger Deakin, John Lyons, Dave Owram and Goff Wetherall.

Structure of the League

Erik Thompson :- there was nothing to report since the applications from Kirk Deighton and Sicklinghall have both been withdrawn.

Proposed Rule Changes

See separate Sheet – Proposals from Pannal and Birstwith were all defeated. All other proposals from Umpires Secretary. Goldsborough and the Management Committee were carried.

Cricket Balls

Eric Houseman - The Balls to be used for the 2005 season will remain those supplied by Lords International Ltd. The Shooting Star. Peter Crack has analysed the Tiflex Cricket Balls. The 2005 balls will be distributed at the pre-season meeting in early April.

Honoraria

The League Secretary increase to £1350 and League Treasurer to £250.
Sir Thomas was thanked for Chairing the meeting which closed at 9.30pm.
