MINUTES or the meeting held on Monday June 10th 2002 were signed as being a true record.
MATTERS ARISING There were no matters arising.
CORRESPONDENCE AND SECRETARYS BUSINESS
Leeds Area Cricket Council 6 aside 1st December 2002
M.C.C. fixture to be played at Newby Hall August 28th 2002 Cheque £240 to be sent to Newby Hall to cover meals. Jeff Watkins and Eric Appleton will Umpire this fixture. They have come top of the ''Captains Marking of Umpires '' for 2002. M.C.C. fixture for 2003 will be on August 27th.
Nidderdale Recreation Centre Forms passed to Bill Kitson for completion re Junior Indoor 6 a side Leagues for January 2003.
Thircon C.C. have written to express their disappointment in the reporting of matches by Ackrill Newspapers.
Helperby C.C. have requested to play a 2nd X1 in Div 7 next season ( 2002 ) Agreed.
Goldsborough C.C. and North Stainley C.C. both requested that they should not have to pay the £30 fine for not playing in the Atkinson Swires Cup. It was agreed that they must Pay Up.
Bishop Monkton C.C.are upset that they have to pay £10 for not playing a Saturday Match due to No Team (Due to World Cup Match) It was agreed that they must Pay Up.
Inter League Matches ~Two still to play L.A.C.C. and Y.I.L. both against York Senior League. First one to be played next Sunday June 16th at Carlton Towers.
League Cups Wath Cup Middleham beat Bishop Thornton - Dave Harmsworth M.O.M.
Reserve Knock Out Bilton beat Hampsthwaite. Andy Grove - M.O M. Atkinson Swires Cup Final to be played at Masham next Sunday June 16th between Bishop Thornton C.C. and Pannal C.C. Umpires Jeff Watkins and Eric Appleton.
Wath Cup and Reserve Cup fixtures to start 2 weeks later in 2003 with final commencing at 6.15pm
Y.C.C.C. in the C & G Final on August 31st. May league matches be played on September 1st if both Clubs agree. Decision - NO.
Pannal C.C. requested that all St Aidans players be transferred en bloc to Pannal - No.
Ackrill Players of the Month Not yet agreed yet. To confirm with Mark Absolom.
St.Aidans Cricket Association have resigned from the Nidderdale League. Dennis Richards will meet Mangement Committee after this meeting.
TREASURERS REPORT Balance £6.404
8 Clubs still not paid their Subscriptions.
Nothing to report on any increase from Ackrill Newspapers.
UMPIRES SECRETARY REPORT
Captains report forms. Not being sent in by all clubs. - re think for next season?
Umpires & Scorers Course to start in September - 12 weeks - Thursdays - Ripley Castle.
Posters to go to Clubs and notice in the paper. It is hoped that we have more umpires next season.
GROUND COMMITTEE REPORT
Harrogate Strays have stated that the facilities at Almsford Oval will be in place for them to play in division 2 next season. Letters have gone to all clubs in division 3 reminding them of requirements needing for playing in Divisions 1 and 2. A few complaints have been received re Hampsthwaite Ground. Assistance is being given by the Ground Committee.
DISCIPLINARY PANEL REPORT
Erik Thompson reported on Sharow and Masham v Scotton.
Some Rule Changes are needed to tighten up some points. Peter Crack and Ben Drummond asked to join Erik Thompson. David Burton and Tricia Heard on this sub Committee.
INDOOR SIX ASIDE for JUNIORS letters will go out to all clubs asking for information on which age group leagues are needed. When replies are received the fixtures will be drawn up and Indoor matches will start early in 2003.

If this fixture is not played or completed on August 18th Masham will not be able to host it again until September 1st. Agreed.
Headingley
Management Committee visit to Headingley now to be re-arranged for early next season -
has had to be postponed with Yorkshire playing in the Cheltenham and Gloucester Final.
