The secretary answered question re Dave Parkin (Ex Bishop Thornton) -Dave Parkin had shown some interest in playing for Birsttwith this season. He has not taken this further. Not known as to whether he has ever sent his letter of apology to Ouseburn re incident in 2004.
TREASURERS REPORT

Club Accounts to go out , bill for printing yet to pay and Bill for advertising in the hand book to go out.
The cost of the new IT hardware for the League Secretary to use has cost £470 very much below the limit of £700 agreed by the Management Committee. Thanks to Ben Drummond.
DISCIPLINARY PANEL REPORT
Peter Ingham not having completed a transfer form and having played for Harrogate Strays.is on going.
At this point members expressed their opinions that Harrogate C.C. should be written to to point out that they were not abiding by many of the League Rules. It was agreed that letter should go to Miles Rawlings ( Chairman ) and a copy to Andrew Campbell ( President ) of Harrogate C.C. Erik Thompson agreed to draft this letter – run it past Sir Thomas before it went to the club.
UMPIRES SECRETARY REPORT
Jeff Watkins -There will be 33 umpires available for the 2005 season. We have lost two umpires Malcolm Brass and Peter Belben. Brian Spence has rejoined the Umpire Team after a few years. Guy Smalley has reported that 9 people have taken their part 2 examination and all past. Thanks go to Guy. On the on line results Masham have been guilty of commenting on the two umpires who officiated on a particular game.
The League web site is not the place to discuss umpires at all. A letter to go to Masham stating that the result of the match plus all players batting, bowling and any outstanding feats is all that must go on the result sheet.
GROUND COMMITTEE REPORT
Ben Drummond - All Grounds inspected, all were found to meet minimum standard although one or two need closely monitoring. One ground, Bolton Abbey was reported by the umpires as unfit after their match with Raskelf. Rule 26 - Top 2 must be inforced. Discussion followed re the lack of Boundary marking at both Goldsborough and Alne – quirk of the league. Size of the grounds taken into account – leave as is.
JUNIOR LEAGUE
John Barrett - There are now 73 teams in 23 clubs playing Junior Cricket. Teams are entered in the Joe Lumb Competition. Thanks to Ben Drummond for his work of the Website for the juniors.
