No problems at present. May be struggling May 20th and 27th when only 19 umpires available.

Umpires course – 100% pass very good. 2 of those who passed will probably umpire next season. Thanks to Sir Thomas for the use of the Castle Rooms for the Course.

One Umpire Paul Watson has withdrawn from league umpiring as he has been by RAF to the south of England.

Umpires for the forth coming Derek Marshall match at Goldsborough will be father and son Andrew and Matthew Clapperton.

Keith Nuttall – ex Umpire felt a little aggrieved that no letter of thanks has been sent to him – finished umpiring after 20+ years.

GROUND COMMITTEE REPORT

A reminder that the revised copy of the ground marking guide in .pdf format is available to download. To try and minimise some of the marking issues that arose last year, the league would advise every club to print off two copies of this document and put a copy in both the home and away changing rooms so captains/markers have a copy to read from at every game.
