Minutes of the Management Meeting held at Ripley Castle - Tuesday, October 16, 2001
WITH SIR THOMAS UNABLE TO ATTEND, THE MEETING WAS CHAIRED BY ERIK THOMPSONMEMBERS PRESENT Erik Thompson, John Barrett, Peter Crack, Peter Bentley, Jeff Watkins, Ron Fry, Steven Coombs, Tricia Heard, Eric Houseman, Alex Houseman, Neil Burtwistle.
CONGRATULATIONS were conveyed to Ron Fry on reaching his 80th Birthday and Tony Whittaker and Louise on the arrival of their baby.
APOLOGIES were received from Sir Thomas, Bill Kitson, Barry Gill, John Whitehead, Chris Newton and Bruce Jackson.
The minutes of the meeting held on October 16th were agreed and signed as being a true record
MATTERS ARISING there were no matters arising.
CORRESPONDENCE AND SECRETARYS BUSINESS
Indoor Cricket Junior. This item to be discussed IN FULL at next meeting when Eric Houseman will have checked on any special regulations covering Junior Players safety for indoor matches. Secretary to ask Bill Kitson to contact Eric Houseman who will seek advise from E.C.B. before the weekend.
Y.C.A. - Y.C.B mail outs received
M.C.C. fixture for 2002 is Wednesday August 28th.
Bilton C.C. still looking for a ground for their 4th X1 for 2002 - will be one of the following - Harrogate Gas Sports,Huby, the old Dunlopillow Ground or Police College.
Black Sheep Trophy - Bishop Thornton will represent the Nidderdale League.
TREASURERS REPORT £5009. 9 Clubs still not paid their fees. Should have been paid 3 months ago. Letters to be sent at the end of October. Rule 15.

UMPIRES TRAINING OFFICER REPORT Umpires Course Started last month.
Scorers Course to start on October 23rd at Harrogate Cricket Club with Ann Roberts and Derek Shuttleworth.
GROUND COMMITTEE REPORT Next meeting October 18th when in particular the promotion to Division 2 will be discussed and a decision made.
DISCIPLINARY PANEL REPORT Studley Royal v Middleham still to be resolved.
DINNER Fred Trueman confirmed booking. Kevin Connolly unable to attend - agent rang. Possible addition to speakers - Robin Smith - Hampshire.
AGM Date - either January 21st or 28th 2002. Check with Sir Thomas before booking.
PROPOSED RULE CHANGES Only 2- both in connection with 12 over restriction Rule. New wording required from Killinghall and Pateley Bridge.
All Transfer forms and lists of registered players to be with the league secretary before the start of the season.
ANY OTHER BUSINESS
