Minutes of the Ground Committee Meeting held at Masham CC - Thursday, March 31, 2005

MINUTES

The minutes of the meeting held on Thursday 21st October 2004 were signed as being a true record of that meeting.

MATTERS ARISING

There were no matters arising.

GROUND VISITS 2005

The pre-season ground visits were allocated to committee members. As previous years members were asked to visit the same grounds wherever possible. As Ken Hainsworth was out of the country his grounds were spread among the other members.
The ground committee agreed wherever possible to inspect changing room facilities as well as the state of playing facilities

BOUNDARY MARKINGS

A discussion then followed regarding boundary markings, and it was noted that some clubs whose grounds were enclosed by a fence were not complying with Rule 22 f) of the League’s Constitution. Furthermore it was also pointed out that clubs in the Yorkshire League and York Senior League with similar facilities had been made to mark a white line within the fenced area of their ground. It was decided this rule should be enforced in the top two divisions and that this matter should be discussed at the next league management meeting.
