Monday 8 March 2010 - 2010 Umpires Rota

The umpires rota for the first half of the 2010 season is now available by clicking through to the umpires page of this web site or by clicking this link.

Clubs will notice that there are more games in Division 2 where there are either no umpires or only one. This is due to a shortage of umpires this season. Umpires are listed for the first rounds of cup games. 2nd and subsequent rounds are provisional at this stage and will be subject to change.

Monday 1 February 2010 - To All Clubs

The Harrogate Cricket Development Group in connection with the YCB grounds association are holding an informal presentation on all aspects of Groundsmanship, from pre-season/spring work to renovation work, preparing and repairing pitches during the season and the use and maintenance of machinery at Knaresborough Cricket Club on February 8th at 7.00pm.

The presentation is not just for your groundsmen, it is an opportunity to introduce all members of your club into the requirements and practices needed to helping and becoming involved with Groundsmanship.

Tuesday 19 January 2010 - Golden Oldies Update

The Golden Oldies section of this website has been updated and now includes a list of all the confirmed teams participating in this year's event. As you will see there is a strong contingent from the Southern Hemisphere, and it is up to us all to ensure there is some fair competition for them when they arrive.

With this in mind, it is essential that clubs start planning now if they are considering entering a team. It does not have to a be club side, it can an amalgamation of several clubs or even an invitational side so long as every player participating is over the age of 40. More details can be found here

The Nidderdale League Team squad of players is looking fairly healthy at the moment, but there is plenty of rooms for some more cricketers (over the age of 40). To be considered for the League Team, please click here

Tuesday 12 January 2010 - To All Clubs

Please could all Nidderdale League clubs submit up to date contact details for all positions within their clubs to enable an accurate picture to be published in the 2010 League handbook and the Golden Oldies festival handbook. Please refer to the 2009 Handbook or the Nidderdale League web site for the current information.

Submissions must be made by 29th January 2010 and a null submission will not be acceptable.

Tonight's AGM has been postponed

It will now be held on Monday January 18th at 7.30pm at Ripley Town Hall

Saturday 9 January 2010 - To All Clubs

A G M Monday January 11th.

With the weather we are having at the moment and possibly more snow to come tomorrow and Sunday, the AGM may have to be postponed.

A message will be put on the web site on MONDAY 11TH as soon after 10.00am as we can to let you know if the meeting will go ahead.
