Monday 13 February 2012 - The 2012 Grey Fox Trophy (Over 50s)
Plans for the 2012 over 50’s “Grey Fox Trophy” are now underway and this year The Nidderdale League are looking at entering at least one team in to the competition. If you would like to know more look up the following link, http://www.yorkshireccc.com/news/grey-fox-trophy-2012/1080
Yorkshire Cricket Club have offered winter nets for any over 50’s players at the YCC Cricket School on St Michael’s Lane every Sunday from 12.00 until 13.00 hours from Sunday 19th February until April 15th inclusive @ £3.00 per player per session

Friday 10 February 2012 - Monkhouse Intersport Start of Cricket Season Sale

Wednesday 8 February 2012 - Cricket Resource Show
The largest and most important cricket exhibition ever to take place in the UK is taking place this coming Saturday February 11th, between 10am - 5pm, The Cricket Resource Show North 2012 at the Headingley Cricket Ground.
If you are involved in club cricket and your club is looking to resource products, coaching ideas and services for the new season this is an important event for your club to be respresented at.
Over 50 exhibitors will showcase the very best and latest products available to cricket clubs and there is also some great interactive sessions led by Andy Gale the Yorkshire CC Captain.

- Mark Lawson Pre-Season Specialist Spin Academy – 19th February 2012 to 25th March 2012 / 12:00 – 2:00pm- 12 hours intense spin bowling coaching with one of the most highly regarded spin bowling coaches in the country.

Friday 27 January 2012 - Coaching Workshops Ashville
The sessions on Saturday January 28th and February 4th have been called off as the School have a competition for which they need the hall. We apologise for short notice, but they only contacted Mike this morning. We will have a catch up session at the end of the workshops so everyone will get the same as we promised at the start.
They have given us the following dates in March as an alternatives:
Saturday 3rd March - Junior Age Group 2-4pm
Saturday 10th March - Senior Age Group 2-4pm

Monday 23 January 2012 - Cricket Coaching Mats
Spofforth Cricket Club has 2 Cricket Caching Mats for sale. They are in top condition and have been rarely used.
Similar mats can be viewed on www.cricketcoachingmats.com. There cost new is around £180 plus the cost of postage and packing. We are asking just £75 for each mat.

The funeral of Roger Deakin will take place at Pannal Church on Tuesday 24th January at 12.45 pm.
Monday 16 January 2012 - Recreational Players
Players who have previously been approved as a Recreational Overseas Player do not have to reapply each season, unless their circumstances have materially changed.
Clubs should however highlight such players on the registration forms when submitted to the league.
