Tuesday July 2008 - The Nidderdale League Lords Taverners Under 11s
The Nidderdale Lords Taverners Under 11's won their game against the Pontefract League by 12 runs at Birstwith CC. They also beat East Yorkshire by 3 wickets at Alne CC. Unfortunately the Heavy Woollen fixture was cancelled due to rain. Despite giving every effort, they have failed to qualify for the semi-finals by a narrow margin.
Once again the hospitality at the home fixtures was first class. The Nidderdale team have a lot of talent, and by the end of their fixtures were coming together very well as a team.
