Further Information

Masham lost both openers for five runs and looked in trouble but up stepped Phil Newton with a well crafted 59 and found support in the form of skipper Adam smith with a belligerent 26.Sam roser for forest bowled a good spell, taking 3 for 30 and with pyke 2 for 21 off 12 kept a strangle hold on Masham's lower order.Chasing 156 was never going to be easy on a slow wicket but Matt parker blitzed the early bowlers scoring 39 in the first ten overs, but once he departed to the evergreen Chapman the scoring rate slowed and wickets fell regularly.Forest eventually fell 35 runs short but in truth were always in with a chance.
